Bayberry Cottage

Bayberry Cottage is set up as a true home décor boutique, with every aspect of the home on display. The focus is on a casual lake lifestyle with fun, bold colors and designs. Gwen DeBruyn wanted to create a true one-stop-shop offering an extensive line of furniture and creative lighting options, artwork, homewares, and accessories like throw rugs and pillows.

The Rust Belt Market

As luck would have it, Tiffany had taken note of a large building on a busy corner in Ferndale. A building that had been empty for many years made for owners that were very motivated to lease it out. So, with a little savings and some family loans, the couple took a leap of faith and The Rust Belt Market was born.

Rebel Magnolia

Funky, eclectic, hip, stylish, earthy. All are words that readily describe Rebel Magnolia in Saginaw. Owners Hailey Cannon and Lauren Husen each bring their own special style and strong design skills to this chic boutique, Cannon with a fun bohemian vibe and Husen adding a mid-century modern flare.

Stonehedge Gallery

Stonehedge Gallery has an extensive array of art across all mediums. There is something for everyone. Sculpture, pottery, blown glass, furniture, dinnerware, papier-mâché, oil and watercolor paintings, fiber arts, stained glass, and handmade greeting cards that are each a work of art in their own right, are spread out over each floor of the building.

Jaali

Chances are you’ve seen jaali but never knew it by name. It has been a common architectural detail in Hindu temples and Islamic buildings since the 14th century. Jaali translates as “net” and refers to perforated surfaces or latticed screens, typically with an ornamental geometric pattern.
