LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

I love spring. It’s the season of possibility. Everything is coming back to life after the cold of winter. That first crocus popping up through the snow with its burst of color never fails to put a smile on my face. And who can resist opening the windows on the first sunny, 50 degree day? There’s nothing quite like feeling the fresh air on our face as it’s turned up toward the sun in spring.
Spring is also the season of projects. Many of us spend the winter hibernating. Then, when spring begins, so does our to-do list. Hopefully the articles in this issue will help give you inspiration, ideas, and things to consider as we leave winter behind. You might even decide to take a road trip one sunny, spring day and visit one of the businesses featured in these pages.
As we continue to refine our regular magazine content, we’re excited to launch the Southeast Michigan Region with this issue. The section will be a permanent addition to the magazine, and will include a fantastic build or remodel feature plus Out and About, Focus On, and Building Community. We’re also including a second, special feature on the Michigan Design Center in Troy in this introductory issue.
